Today Aubrey Ann was sitting having her lunch, and she wanted to use a ‘big girl cup’, (an open cup, not a sippy), so I obliged.

Aubrey Ann has always lover her vegetables, especially if she can dip them in something. So lo an behold, I look over and Aubrey Ann is dipping her steamed broccoli in her milk! She looks at me, takes a bite and says, “It’s ummmmy”.

A few minutes later she looks inside her glass and say, “There’s grass in my milk!”

Later that day, as I was getting ready to put Aubrey Ann to bed she looks at me and says, “Mommy, God made you special!” And I said, “He sure did, and He made you special too.” And Aubrey Ann says, “Just like Bob the mato!”

Being as special as ‘Bob the mato’ is a high compliment in these parts. I’ll take it!
