I am so blessed to watch our daughter grow mentally, phsyically, but most of all, spiritually. It never ceases to amaze me at her thirst for Bible stories and verses. Every morning after breakfast Aubrey Ann and I enjoy a time of devotion together. I read from my Bible, and she looks at pictures in her Children’s Bible, then we read together and pray that God blesses our day. It has become a time that we look forward to in the morning, and I believe helps set our day on the right path.

I think the most amazing thing, is how many Bible stories Aubrey Ann has latched on to. The other day while we were doing our devotion, Aubrey Ann turned to the page that had the story of David and Goliath on it. She pointed to Goliath and said, “Goliath BIG, Goliath STRONG!” Then she pointed to David and said, “David little, David small”. I just thought it was amazing that she could come away with that kind of knowledge at such a young age. She knows a ton of different stories, but her favorite is still the story of the Nativity. She also loves the story of Zacheous, and can even sing the whole song about him.

I never want to forget all of these little details. I love how she wants to pray for the silliest things, and how she asks the sweetest questions about her Bible stories. I am a very blessed mother indeed!
